West Mexico,  Protoclassic, circa 100 B.C. to 250 A.D.

A tender effigy in buff clay, she sits wearing a tunic and has an infant on her shoulder. She has fine facial features with applied coffee bean shaped eyes; she wears earclips and a  strap belt at waist. 
Size:    4-3/4 inches High. Nice example.
Provenance:   Private Nevada collection. Ex. Dr. David Harner collection, Arkansas, 1950’s - 1960’s. collection # 71.5.
