An ovoid bowl, almost of a boat shape with swirl incised patterns and on the ends are figural heads, each representing an ancestor or monkey spirit, or a skeletal head. Remains of archaeological surface, pierced for suspension.
Size 2-3/8 in H x 3-3/4 in L.

A similar vessel in the Foundation Garcia Arevalo is illustrated in Taino, Pre-Columbian Art and Culture from the Caribbean, Museo El Barrio page 47.  Good condition, repair to body and possible loss to one lug hole.
