The Buddha stands in the Abhaya mudra which is a gesture that signifies fearlessness and protection. It's a reassurance, a gesture of dispelling fear and offering the feeling of safety and peace to those who look upon the Buddha in this pose. The raised hand is often seen as a symbol of giving blessings and protection, inviting individuals to approach without fear and to feel comforted and assured.

He wears ornate brocade pattern drapery and the surface is overall lavishly gilt.

His face with a serene facial expression, tightly curled hair nodes, long ear lobes, heavily laden meditative eyes, thin aquiline nose and fleshy outlined lips and some remaining black painted highlighted hairdo.
