Red-brown pottery large female figure seated in a kneeling birthing position with swollen abdomen, holding both hands under her breasts. Depicted with expressive facial features, wide eyed and parted lips. Wearing a fancy ear ornament and simple nose ring. Some elaborate black resist geometric decoration on her body and face.
Size: 16-3/4 inches (42.5cm) H. x 7-1/2 (18.2cm) inches W.
