New Kingdom 19th Dynasty, circa 1293 to1185 BC

A colorful painting with applied mineral pigment depicting a male figure in long pleated white robes, seated on a wood chair, his hands held up in veneration. He had bald pate, eyes with applied kohl, and an ornate collar.


Height 11-1/4 inches, width 6-3/4 inches. + larger in a wood & plexi fitted display case.

Provenance: Mr. L B esq. 5th Avenue NY;  acquired from Jerome M. Eisenberg, Royal Athena Galleries, NYC on Dec 11th 1982 as per invoice no. 2161.
