Late Classic Circa 550 to 950 AD .

A fine and delicate well appointed hand made pottery kneeling supplicant figure with a support tail and wearing a removable plumed headdress with mask at front. His handsome face with strong 'Roman' nose, bearded and ears with large ear spools and straight cropped hair visible front under of headdress. He wears a loincloth,  a vest and large pectoral necklace to further extol his status.  Remains of red and blue pigment highlights. Arms gone.

Size: 7-3/4 inches H. Presented in a custom made plexi glass display case.
