Peru, circa 400 to 600 AD.  

Mold made in the form of a conch shell, painted cream with red detailing. Stirrup spout atop.  The ancient Moche placed great emphasis on their relationship with the sea as a powerful destructive force but also as a giver of sustenance and life.


Size: 8-1/2 inches H. 

Top of the spout has minor chips/roughness.  Ex. German Collection with inventory number underneath (069205).  

Thermoluminescence certificate from Laboratory Ralf Kotalla accompanies (samples estimated to be 1350 years old (+/- 20%).

We ship Tuesday to Friday with UPS or USPS and usually same day if your order is received before 2pm. Depending on size and destination, delivery times range from one to five business days.

For overseas shipments our shipping charge includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.
