West Mexico Protoclassic, ca. 100 BCE to 250 CE.

Polychrome decorated pottery standing female figure, leaning forward and holding a bowl in her left hand. Finely incised striated hairdo and wearing fancy ear ornaments. Beautifully painted fine line details and decorative elements. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Bowl is repaired from a few small original pieces, with break lines visible, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A nice example.
Size: 11”H. x 7”W.
