Middle Sepik River province,  late 20th century vintage.  

Expressive birds carved perched, each with wings folded under, long graceful necks and beaks and cowrie shell eyes. Ample remains of brown, red and white pigment remaining. 

Size 17 in H. each.  Very decorative.
