Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, 26th–30th Dynasty, ca. 664–30 BCE.

Molded in mummiform pose standing upon an integral rectangular plinth and supported by a continuous dorsal pillar, the funerary figure is depicted wearing a tripartite wig and the divine braided beard resting against the chest. The arms are crossed over the torso holding the traditional agricultural implements: a pick and hoe rendered in raised relief to perform manual labor on behalf of the deceased in the afterlife with a seed sack slung over the shoulder. The front of the body features a single vertical column of incised hieroglyphs containing the standard offering/name formula ("sḥḏ Wsr..." - "The illuminated one, the Osiris Heqa"), mirrored by further incised hieroglyphic text running down the dorsal column reads: “… son of Ta-sherit-hor-si-ese.” (This would be the mother’s name)

Lustrous, apple-green to turquoise siliceous glaze, the statuette displays authentic fine age craquelure, localized earthen encrustation, and subtle browner weathering along the back pillar and base, surviving in complete, intact condition

Size 3-3/4 in H + custom mount.
