 South Italy Ca 350 BC.  

Black metallic glazed pottery pouring vessel having a long slender arched handle and open type pour spout with applied molded head lugs at the base of the spout. Painted tricolor decoration having a wide center band of leafy sprigs with grape clusters and multiple narrow bands of various geometric decoration. A nicely decorated ornate example. Gnathia was a sub style of the Apulia region in South Italy who produced these black glazed vessels.  

Size  7-1/4 inches (18.5 cm)  H. Repaired from several large original fragments.
