Chinesco Type C's have a broad heart-shaped to triangular heads,  red facial painting and linear body ornament like this example.

Size: 6-3/4 x 4-3/4 x 2-7/8 in. (17.1 x 12.1 x 7.3 cm).

Condition Intact with surface wear and pigment losses.

The figure would have been interred in an underground burial chamber of a West Mexican shaft tomb. Such figures are believed to have served as companions, attendants, or symbolic guardians for the dead, reflecting beliefs about clan, status, ancestry, and the afterlife. Seated and kneeling female figures in particular are often interpreted as representations of ancestors, mothers, or honored women within the lineage.
