Egypt, Alexandria, Hellenistic period, circa 3rd–2nd century BCE.

Each hand‑molded in a fine reddish clay and worked in the round, depicting bald, large‑eared figures with exaggerated features and the head tilted slightly upward in the expressive manner typical of Hellenistic sculpture. The modeling emphasizes the oversized ears, rounded cranium, and individualized facial structure, aligning them with the popular grotesque and theatrical character tradition in Alexandrian coroplastic art. Traces of original surface dressing and minor earthen accretions remain in recesses; small chips, losses to extremities, and general surface wear are consistent with age and ancient handling. Heights of heads 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 inches (4.4–4.8 cm); overall c. 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) including modern white display bases.
