Caspian Sea Area, Ca 1st Millennium BCE
Cast bronze bottle with a tapering baluster body on a ringed foot. Tall cylindrical neck with a raised collar at the base and a double ring below the flaring dish-shaped mouth. Undecorated. Probably held rosewater or perfume, the narrow neck releasing it a few drops at a time. Dark green patina with lighter green encrustation; base compromised, a pale patch above the foot.

Size: 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) H. x 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) W. x 1 inch (2.5 cm) D.
